Senior Pastors

A ministry of servanthood has been and continues to be the foundation of our Senior Pastors.  Their ministry began under the dynamic dual leadership of Pastors Arthur and Clarise Johnson in Lakeland, Florida.  After completing ministerial requirements and accreditation, this dynamic duo was ordained in the service of the Lord.  Destiny brought this ministry team to the Metropolitan Atlanta area in 1995.  After serving in the Potter’s House International Pastoral Alliance (PHIPA), they were ordained  by Bishop T.D. Jakes.

This local ministry has been placed in their hands to care by the Lord to nurture, serve and to deposit a more perfect Vision into the Lives of the people of God.  A healing  and compassionate anointing is upon Pastors Marion and BJ.  This ministry is a healing temple and God has equipped them to minister to the diverse types of illnesses which enter for healing and deliverance.  The heart of the Prelate Shepherds is to nurture and provoke vision in the lives of all through the love of Christ Jesus.

Highways and Hedges: The Lord has truly blessed their ministry to reach into the highways and hedges.  These Pastors can be found serving at WATC-TV as prayer partners,  in the Gwinnett Detention Center and also at Gwinnett Extended Care Center.  Where there is a ministry need, they are there. They serve  corporately and virtually.

Family Life: Pastor “M” and Pastor “BJ”, as they are affectionately called, are celebrating their 35th year of covenant marriage.  The Lord has allowed them the grace to view the blessing of their seed as per the Abrahamic Covenant.  They are the proud parents of Keith and Kia Relefourd.  Kia is a graduate of Warm Springs with a degree in Early Childhood Development. Keith served in the USMC as Lance Corporal.  Keith and their Daughter-In-Love Karisha Relefourd are the proud parents of KaShayla Jenae Relefourd, Kadin Jordan Relefourd and Kelin Joshua Relefourd.

Our History

On December 7, 1997, Vision of Life Ministries was born in the city of Lawrenceville, Georgia. This small and spiritual fellowship worshipped in the main chapel of Warbington Mortuary for approximately one year. In 1998, with the growth of the congregation and the blessings of the Lord, Vision of Life moved to its own chapel on Arnold Road.

In Miracles 2000, the Vision of Life Worship Center moved into a new facility at 468D Northdale Road and in March, 2004, moved into a larger facility at The Worship Center, 458 Chestnut St. In August, 2004, Vision Academy Life Center was founded and began to serve Gwinnett County and surrounding communities.

Vision of Life Ministries, a healing temple, has always aligned itself with the heartbeat of God, reaching and moving into areas which compel those to Christ.

With a power-filled and anointed Worship Celebration on Sunday Mornings, this time of impartation is a service designed to corporately celebrate “The Christ” while individually delivering healing and deliverance to inspire and provoke a more perfect Vision for your life. The theme scripture of the ministry is: Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

Vision of Life Ministries has been blessed with prophetic, redemptive revelation to impart to all, to alleviate the perishing or non-productive aspect of the vision God has deposited within.  This anointing produces joy and “good success” as we witness sons and daughters moving forth in their God-given vision!

Word on the Web was established in 2010 as a web-based bible study presenting a virtual sanctuary to fellowship, study and present a corporate setting in a virtual atmosphere. This vehicle of study provides study availability for those whose schedule does not permit a physical attendance.

Morning Glory is a non-traditional study and discussion forum on Sunday mornings prior to the Worship Celebration.  Attendees have liberty to have conversations about what would normally be discussed at “the water cooler” on Monday mornings. Current events, however, are addressed and discussed from a biblical prospective.

The history and present state of Vision of Life Ministries is that it continues to serve as a catalyst for evolving ministry. The Bible states in Hebrews 10:25”…forsake not the assembling of yourselves together…”The heart of Vision of Life is to assemble men and women, boys and girls for kingdom servanthood and submission  to our Lord and Savior!

The VOL E-Church Campus debuted in 2015 as an outreach component which  allows  worship, study, and engaging fellowship in a Christian community from all points of the globe.

The VOL E-Church Campus is a global Christian Campus is a presence for  those who may have a restriction from attending a local assembly. The VOL E- Church Campus caters to those who serve in the Armed Forces, Sick and Shut-In, Employees and Employers who work conflicting schedules. Students who may be studying in a different location than their church home has also found a faith filled alliance with the VOL E-Church campus.  This innovative cutting edge ministry presence is an example of going into the highways and hedges for those who wish not to "forsake the assembling of themselves with like minded Christian believers. Hebrews 10:25

Vision of Life Ministries can be found on FaceBook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. Our heart is to go into the highways and hedges and compel others to Christ. Vision of Life Ministries is a member of the Potter's House International Pastoral Alliance (PHIPA) under the covering of Bishop T. D. Jakes, Dallas, Texas.

Vision of Life Ministries is a 501(c)3 Organization

Our Vision

"Where there is no vision...the people perish"  Prov. 29:18

  • Lead the lost to Christ by helping them develop a vision for their lives.

  • Aggressively attack prejudice by demonstrating the love of Christ through education and awareness.

  • To develop positive homes, communities and schools through various media and literature, by providing a nurturing environment to develop young men and women as leaders and maintaining an active role in the lives of the elderly.

  • To teach various cultures about survival in the world system.

  • To provide assistance for the community through referrals to counselingservices, substance abuse programs and shelter resources.

As we reach one plateau, we believe God will place us on yet another.
